This free transition guide for parents of deaf and hard of hearing students was compiled by the Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center to make it easier for parents, school and Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) counselors to team up to prepare high schoolers for life beyond the classroom.

 This video is beautifully narrated by Rachel Benedict, daughter of our previous ASDC President (2007-2011), Beth. 
 
In this video, Rachel pulls out the positive portrayal of being a Deaf person and that everyone else (providers, educators, professionals, doctors, parents, and children)  be able to present them on a daily basis.
