John Egbert

John F. Egbert was born deaf and grew up oral till the age of 19 and became bilingual with American Sign Language. He is the founder of Deaf Bilingual Coalition and a Deaf professional speaker to offer a presentation about growing up without sign language, the difference sign language made for him and the way that visual language can transform lives. He is married to Shirley(Frelich) from North Dakota and have two deaf children and four Deaf grandchildren. More information about John is on his website, http://www.johnfegbert.com
