Kristin Di Perri

Kristin Di Perri has worked in the field of Deaf Education for 29 years. She taught Kindergarten-Middle School in Massachusetts. At Boston University she taught graduate classes and supervised student teaching practicum for students in the Masters in Deaf Education Program. She worked as the English Literacy Coordinator at the Scranton State School for the Deaf in conjunction with the ASL Coordinator to implement a Dual Language program at the school. Kristin’s doctorate is in Developmental Studies: Literacy, Language and Culture with the focus on literacy development in deaf children. Dr. Di Perri is currently an Independent Consultant working with schools and programs across the country. She has given many presentations throughout the US and abroad. She is the author of five ASL/English workbooks for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
