  Silent Magic
Biographies of Deaf Magicians in the United States from the 19th to 21st Centuries
By: Dr. Simon J. Carmel

Silent Magic written by Dr. Simon J. Carmel, foreword by Mr. Kevin James is about the lives of fifty-nine deaf magicians in the United States from the 19th to 21st centuries. Dr. Carmel, who is himself a deaf magician, has been able to tell us about the lives of these men and has shared some heart-warming and inspirational stories about their lives. Read their intriguing anecdotes, their humorous stories and how they persisted to overcome their challenges in pursuing their love of magic.

I truly enjoyed reading this book, especially when I realized I actually know one of the magicians profiled and have seen him in action several times.

This book can be purchased from the Author, Dr. Simon Carmel, 9339 Bridgeport Drive, West Palm Beach, Florida 33411. Simoncarmel13@aol.com. The book is 158 pages, with more than 60 photo illustrations. The cost is $29.95 plus $5.00 for postage and handling.
